I work diligently to be a well-rounded person. From runs to self studying my interests and passions, I develop myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. Professionally, I have been trusted to manage employees and oversee operations. I have advocated for indigent clients, veterans, and many others.

As an Intern for the Federal Public Defender of Western Washington, I learned the basics of the federal legal system, and how to tell compelling stories about clients. I wrote a sentencing memo that contributed to a client recieving no additional time in prison, determined by Judge Coughenour. I wrote multiple memos, reviewed thousands of discovery files, created and managed databases of evidence and textual material, and was entrusted with sensitive client information. I also observed Federal criminal and civil trials, a Federal Appellate hearing, and observed plea deal negotiations.

As an Intern for a U.S. Senator, I developed a policy pitch for the Senator’s senior staffers. I wrote a memo and delivered a five minute presentation on streamlining export-support resources for small businesses. I also researched a memo alongside senior defense staffers, which contributed to the introduction and passage of the FORGOTTEN VETERANS ACT. Staffers frequenttly relied on me to be their eyes and ears at hearings, breifings, and for media coverage; I wrote dozens of memos and managed the Senator's daily clips. I also conducted dozens of Capitol tours for State of the Union guests, Ambassador-level officials, and school groups. Every tour was an opportunity to make a meaningful connection with a constituent, and to share my passion for the Capitol’s history. For most constituents and guests, I was their first point of contact with the office.

At this company, I have been trusted to handle thousands of dollars of contracts, calm tensions with six-figure suppliers, and create training content to increase production efficiency. As an intern, I learned the ropes of every side of this incredible company. From working on the assembly line to supporting photoshoots, I immersed myself in every aspect of a successful business.

Over three months, I conducted verbal interviews and produced a five-page proposal for renaming Windtree Park to Hubbell Park. My report was published in the public record, and I advocated for the change before the Newcastle Community Activities Commission. My presentation is available for viewing here, and you can find my publicly published proposal here.

Tiffany recruited me to this fantastic company not long after Got Soup closed down. Having boothed next to her during my time with Got Soup? I got to know her and the incredible vision she has for her company. As an employee at Cookies with Tiffany, ran a stand at farmer's markets and local events. I also work in the bakeshop, preparing cookies. Trained on closing, I am entrusted with managing company facilities. I have developed close bonds with my colleagues in the bakeshop. Although I usually run the booth solo, I have just as much fun at markets. Serving cookies to smiling families and our loyal regulars makes my day.

My Dad and I (pictured) have been loyal Mercer Island Farmer's Market customers for over a decade. In that time, we bonded with each other as well as the vendors on our Sunday adventures. That's how I met Jerry, founder of Got Soup? During COVID, Jerry invited me to join the ranks of Got Soup? At the company, I drove throughout Washington State running markets. Whenever Jerry traveled, I took over all operations. I ensured employees got paid, markets got setup, and opened and closed shop. I was also his on-call IT man. I migrated all company data to a new computer, updated labeling information, and managed his personal and professional technical needs. I spent many late nights at Got Soup? HQ working through technical difficulties. When Jerry retired, I helped shut down Got Soup? equipment and operations.

My Dad introduced me to weightlifting when I was 13. Since then, I have been weightlifting regularly. I love focusing on building myself. Weightlifting is meditative and cathartic.

I am an avid reader. Reading through Doris Kearns Goodwin's books and biographies lets me immerse myself in the stories of past leaders. Spending my day in the Lincoln cabinet or at a Roosevelt speech helps me wind down while gaining a deeper appreciation for those who made our country what it is today.

Every Friday, rain or shine, you can find me putting on my running shoes and hitting the road. Depending on where I am, I sometimes charge toward the White House, Seattle, or up the Slope at Cornell.
