Whether facilitating tough conversations or arguing for global policy reform, I channel my efforts into enriching and distinguishing activities outside the classroom.
As a fellow with the Project on Civic Dialogue, I work with Professor Lara Schwartz to facilitate challenging conversations about pressing issues on campus. I am also a co-founder of a new program to build community on campus through peer leaders.
As an American University Model UN travel team delegate, I compete for the world's #1 ranked Model UN Team. Having served as a delegate for China, Saudi Arabia, Sheffield United, and various other organizations and nations, I have researched and debated cutting edge policy prescriptions for the modern era. Beyond competing, I have taught multiple Model UN workshops to highschoolers. My time as a Sousaphone created lasting friendships and taught me the basics of leadership as I trained the next generation of marching band students, who performed at the Macy's Day parade in 2023.

From instructing freshmen on the federal rules of evidence to arguing about the constitutionality of evidence seizures in pretrial arguments, my time in mock trial has made me a stronger speaker, leader, and learner.

As a founder of Dollar Scholars, I worked alongside my peers and a professor to create a financial literacy organization. Beyond researching and working through the nonprofit filing process, I also wrote the organization's bylaws and helped edit the curriculum. The student leadership team pivoted to Surety Intitive due to having a different intended target demographic and organizational vision, and we remain committed to increasing financial literacy across the country.
