Interning for a U.S. Senator allowed me to research and write a memo that contributed to the introduction and passage of the FORGOTTEN VETERANS ACT. Working with the Senator’s Airforce Staffer, I researched the medical struggles of veterans exposed to toxic chemicals from anti-radar paint. I discovered an existing VA database that did not cover symptoms from exposure to these chemicals, and wrote a proposal to extend the conditions from exposure as service-related injuries. This has since become law.

As a recipient of this award, my Calculus 2 professor recognized me for academic excellence and for fostering collaboration in the classroom.

I was recognized for writing a thesis level paper analyzing the U.S. Automotive Industry and its impact on american law.

Throughout my academic career, I have devoted much of my spare time to extracurricular activities. Traveling around the United States as a Mock Trial attorney, Model UN Delegate, and Sousaphone player, I am a key contributor in any organization I join.

My highest priority is academics. As an engaged student, I dive into complicated philosophical texts and mathematical models with equal zeal.

Free moments not occupied with extracurricular engagements are often spent working, self-studying, or self-improvement. When I am not a student, delegate, performer, or attorney, I am a voracious reader, trusted manager, and an enthusiastic runner and weightlifter.
